Today, our dedicated MYS recruits took part in a meaningful tree planting exercise at Meru Maximum Prison, along the beautiful prison River. The day was filled with purpose, teamwork, and positivity as they worked together to transform the environment one tree at a time.
MYS CEO, CPA Edwin Murangiri, expressed his appreciation to the prison leadership for the opportunity, while County Prison Commander John Mbetu shared insightful wisdom and life lessons with the enthusiastic youth.
Together, they planted Prunus africana (African Cherry) and Giant Bamboo trees, making a lasting contribution toward environmental conservation and a greener future.
This initiative went beyond planting trees it was about nurturing hope, discipline, and responsibility in the next generation. Proud of our MYS team for leading the way.
