Meru Youth Service CEO CPA Edwin Murangiri held a productive consultative meeting with officials from the Youth Enterprise Development Fund today to explore strategic partnerships aimed at empowering young people through labour mobility opportunities.
Their discussions focused on creating sustainable pathways that will enable youth from Meru county to access employment opportunities abroad by equipping them with the skills, support, and guidance needed to compete in the global job market. This initiative aligns with the vision of H.E. Governor Mutuma M’Methingia whose administration remains committed to expanding economic opportunities for the county’s youth.
Also present at the meeting was the MYS Board Chairperson Caroline Ntinyari who underscored the importance of collaborative partnerships in unlocking international employment opportunities and improving the livelihoods of young people across the county.
This consultative engagement marks a significant step towards strengthening labour mobility programmes and empowering Meru’s youth through access to global employment opportunities.
