In preparation for the upcoming Meru Youth Service (MYS) intake, MYS CEO CPA Edwin Murangiri today led a joint inspection at the new MYS Centre, accompanied by a team from the Department of Health Services.
The visit focused on assessing a designated section of the facility that is set to be transformed into a fully operational Health Centre. Once complete, the centre will not only support MYS activities but also provide essential healthcare services to the surrounding community.
During the inspection, the team identified key amenities needed to facilitate the efficient and seamless delivery of health services. They also pinpointed areas requiring upgrades to meet public health standards, ensuring the facility adheres to the highest levels of safety and hygiene.
Marking a significant milestone, the CEO confirmed the successful connection of clean water to the facility, a crucial step in creating a safe, sanitary, and fully functional healthcare environment.
This initiative aligns with the vision of H.E. Governor Mutuma M’Ethingia to empower the youth through expanded opportunities while promoting access to affordable, high-quality healthcare for all residents of Meru County.
