The Meru Youth Service has partnered with the Meru Municipality to engage recruits in community service activities focused on cleaning and improving the environment across Meru town.
During the launch, the CEO of Meru Youth Service, CPA Edwin Murangiri, expressed his appreciation to the Governor, H.E Rev. Mutuma M’Ethingia, for reinstating the initiative. He emphasized the importance of youth involvement in community development.
Meru Municipal manager,Dr. Jotham Kirimi, also welcomed the program, noting that it presents a valuable opportunity for young people. He added that the municipality looks forward to collaborating closely with Meru Youth Service recruits to enhance cleanliness and environmental sustainability in the region.
