Transforming the lives of our young people begins with reshaping their mindset. When they are guided by the right training and exposure, discovering and unlocking their full potential becomes a natural and seamless process.
This morning, Meru Governor Hon. Rev. Mutuma M’Ethingia met with a delegation from the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Kenya, led by Chairman Rev. Yohan Kim, to explore partnership opportunities focused on empowering youth with practical, life-changing skills.
Established in Kenya in 2008, IYF provides training across a diverse range of courses, including hairdressing, beauty, plumbing, engineering, entrepreneurship, and video editing, among others. Now active in 30 counties, the organisation has developed a strong reputation for empowering young people, having implemented numerous capacity-building initiatives over the years, including the notable Talanta Hela programme.
In attendance were; Chief of Staff Dr. Julius Mbijiwe, CECM Youths, Sports, Gender and Social Development Hon.Elias Murega, Meru Youth Service CEO CPA Edwin Murangiri, and CEO Villa Greens Limited Mwenda Sawa.
